HIGHLIGHTS

In 2024, the Judit Polgar Global Chess Festival, considered by many to be the world’s most inspiring and colorful chess-themed event, will turn ten years old, which, in addition to the beauty of the game, will sensuously highlight the connection points of chess with our everyday lives, science and art. The Educational Chess Summit organized within the framework of the festival presents the latest and most innovative chess-themed teaching methods.

What is the festival?

  • Started as an afternoon simultaneous exhibition that grew into a two-day cultural event.
  • A festival whose fame reached New York’s Times Square
  • A chess festivity where visitors can meet outstanding figures from different cultural fields.

Judit Polgar’s internationally successful method, the Judit Polgar Method, is summarized in a new six-volume series, which helps children expand and develop their creativity in their home environment from kindergarten age beyond the start of school. The aim of the Chess Palace series is to introduce children aged 4-8 to the world of chess in a playful and interactive way, while developing their abilities and skills.

The volumes and tasks are designed so that children can explore the world of chess together with their parents, which not only helps the development of children, but also provides families with a shared, quality pastime.
