Biz Chess Tournament 2024

The 7th edition of the BIZ Chess Tournament, organized by the Judit Polgár Chess Foundation, took place this year at one of Budapest’s most iconic venues, the Four Seasons Hotel – Gresham Palace again. The event aims to bring together members of the global business and artistic communities who share a passion for chess, offering them an opportunity to connect, engage in friendly competition, and celebrate the game.

We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the top three winners and express our sincere gratitude to all participants for their contributions, which help support the Foundation’s educational initiatives.

Winners:

  1. Tarik Senhaji (Morocco) – 7 points
  2. Sándor Oroján (Hungary) – 5 points
  3. Jeroen Van den Berg (The Netherlands) – 5 points

We also acknowledge the impressive performances of Ernő Mesterházy, Tamás Nádasi, Daniel Yarur Elsaca, Dezső Farkas, Bálint Mesterházy, Andris Ozols, Marcelo Suarez, Dr. Gusztáv Font, Tamás Kárpáti, Balázs Mesterházy, and Prof. Steven Kaali.
