Since the founding of the Judit Polgar Chess Foundation in 2012, we have been working with our colleagues and volunteers to draw attention to the connections between chess and education, science, culture and sport. Our general goal is the widespread familiarization, implementation and transfer of these connection opportunities – that is, to promote chess.
- We take a pioneering role on a global scale in using chess as an educational tool, by developing educational programs and tools that expand children’s cognitive abilities and skills.
- With our research-based initiatives, we help elaborate school teaching materials.
- We support the development of innovative on- and offline educational tools for schools and for individual use.
- We organize large-scale social events promoting chess and education.
- Aiming at equal opportunities, we support the development of modern educational programs for socially and mentally disadvantaged children.
